I had a misconception
of my recollection
Should of used contraception
To protect my innocence
But instead I let the journey
Take me to another place
It took me over, under
And beneath I lost it all
Slowly
See I wasn't a virgin but
It was like for the very first
Time
I open my heart and mind
to become incline
And decided to stimulate
My mind
With the spoken words
Of my soul
I let my words dance and play
With fire it served up a desire
To inspire
I broke free no longer being
Childlike because in one instance
I became a woman
A woman of my word.
